STYLE AND APPROACH

Many people ask me what my style and approach is and that can be a tricky question to answer as I am influenced by so many aspects of photography! In summary I would probably say that I combine a mix of photojournalism and editorial styles to create a body of work that provides a full photographic story of your day.

At heart I am a street / documentary photographer and believe photography is all about capturing the story and essence of the day. My aim is to catch all the romantic moments of the day but also capture the funny, silly, real and raw moments too. After a full day I will most likely have hundreds of photos of you and your guests laughing, hugging, crying and every other emotion in between. You might even find photos of guests doing things you had not noticed during the day which is what documentary photos are all about!

However, I do also love an editorial flair to my work, incorporating elements of artificial flash lighting and also a small amount of posing as a good portraits session can go a long way to creating a set of photos that will really help you remember the amazing day you had.

Ultimately my aim is to provide you with a set of photos that will put a smile on your face! Below I have put together a lookbook from previous work of mine to hopefully give you a glimpse into what I am looking out for throughout a full wedding day
